About Me

Career

I am a data scientist who is focused on bringing about meaningful change. My strong analytical mindset enables me to tackle the most complex problems in a systematic and efficient manner. Additionally, my expertise in mathematics and Python means that I am capable of jumping into any area of machine learning, from signal processing to NLP, and quickly get myself to the cutting edge. I am currently working as a Biological Data Scientist in the Fragiadakis Lab at UCSF.

Hobbies

Our universe is a beautiful place that constantly leaves me awestruck; I want to see and experience as much of it as I can. To explore the sea, I SCUBA dive; to explore the land, I hike; to explore the sky, I stargaze. Where I can, I try to capture feelings evoked by these spaces through photography.

My other hobbies revolve around challenging myself physically and expanding myself mentally. When at home, I can usually be found reading or playing competitive games with friends. I do also enjoy getting out to run, play soccer, and climb. As with all things, I still have much room for growth, but I am definitely improving!

I value many things in life, but there are six ideals that I find to be particularly important:
